Mint Museum of Art in Charlotte: Lecture this Sunday

This book is about the Everson Museum Ceramics collection, Edited by Barbara Perry

We have been a member of the Mint Museum of Art for around 8 years.  Bruce and I discovered it a couple of years after moving to Seagrove in 1997.  We were attracted to the Mint and became a member because of its dedication to ceramics.  They have a wonderful collection of ceramics called the Delhom Collection.  There are lectures throughout the year that are free to Mint members or with admission to the museum.  These lectures are sponsored by the Delhom League.  We were excited to find out that this weekend Barbara Perry will be lecturing about Women in American Ceramics.  Since we are in denial of upcoming deadlines, we will attend.  We have three books in our library that Barbara Perry wrote.

Delhom Service League Lecture: Women in American Ceramics
Sunday, January 11, 2:00 p.m. at the Mint Museum of Art
Free with admission.
Join the Delhom Service League for this informative lecture by former Curator of Decorative Arts, Barbara Perry. The lecture will be held in the Van Every Auditorium, followed by a gallery tour.

"Please brighten up this waiting room," says my busy boss, one morning "Put some art on the wall." Admittedly, the room is on the drab side but as a car spare part supply office, I thought that not many of the clients coming through notice much of it.
From, I ordered online canvas prints about car art, of course, like this one by Salvador Dali.
