Love Bug 2010

A few days ago we delivered a few pieces for LoveBug 2010. This event, on August 6, is a fundraiser for Toxic Free NC, a nonprofit organization, located in Raleigh. They will be holding a Bug Draw Off competition along with an exhibition at Epona and Oak. You can find out details for this at their website. The website says that it starts at 7:00pm but I believe the time that it starts is 6:00pm. This event is coinciding with first Fridays in Raleigh. ArtSpace is right around the corner. Visual Arts Exchange is a few doors away are partnering with Epona and Oak for the evening's affair.

The wonderful Museum of Natural Sciences is nearby as well, and definitely worth a visit when you are in Raleigh. Ben Owen III has an exhibition in the Nature Art Gallery until August 1. The Nature Art Gallery participates with first Fridays and will be opening a new show called "Wing, Leaf, Petal" paintings by Dawn Rozzo.

These are all so fantastic but I think I like the fossil tile the best!! Your glaze work never ceases to amaze me!

Loving all of these... and gloating that I am the lucky keeper of a similar green fish fossil. I tried to photograph mine but it's tricky - the colors change all day long depending on the light and where you see it from (as you have demonstrated).
Hope you're all doing well and staying cool!
