Yesterday we visited the
Mint Museum of Art. Our last day out before studio lock down. We need to throw, throw, throw.... We arrived there at 10:00am to listen to a lecture about Rockingham Pottery. This also allowed us a chance to peruse the Mint and see some of the exhibitions that they have on display. There is a Platform Shoe exhibition. Check it out. I had to lighten the images so they are a bit grainy. No flash is allowed in the museum.

What a great shoe exhibit. That boot next to Bruce is HOT! Though it looks a bit dangerous.
The boot is wonderful (would have been even better in RAUK!) -were there a stack of Podiatrist's cards next to the exhibit?!
*RAKU!
Sam, You must have a pair of the silver boots for our next fundraiser!!
What fun! And lock down better include a weekend night or two open before COSP! We both will need that, all clay work aside :)
I took my class to look at pots and we spent alot of time with those shoes. Aren't fun?
