Happenings at Bulldog Pottery Fall 2008

Assortment of works we will be displaying this weekend at the Mint Museum's Potter's Market

1.  POTTERS MARKET CONTINUES AS SCHEDULED!!  We will be selling our work at the Potter's Market, located on the grounds of the Mint Museum in Charlotte, NC, this coming Saturday, September 6, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.  This event is a fundraiser for the Mint Museum's Delhom Service League.  Gloria and Ed will keep our studio open for visitors here in Seagrove this weekend, September 6th, 2008.

2.  We are featured artists at AKAR Gallery, in Iowa City, Iowa, August 29 - September 19.  We have 18 pieces for sale online at their website and in their gallery.

3.  North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences exhibition of new Bulldog Pottery work will be on display and for sale, in the Nature Art Gallery, Raleigh.  The show runs from October 3 - November 2, 2008: There will be an opening the night of October 3rd from 6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.  We will be at the opening to greet you.

4.  Southern Select Pottery 5th Annual Southern Heritage Pottery Folk Show, in Colfax (between Greensboro and Winston-Salem), October 31 - November 1, 2008.

5.  We will be at the new festival in Seagrove, NC this year.  The inaugural Celebration of Seagrove Potters, under the roof of the Historic Lucks Bean Cannery, this event takes place the weekend before Thanksgiving,  November 22 - 23, with a Gala on Friday night, the 21st.  More details about the Celebration and the list of 60 Seagrove Potters that will be participating can be found at the Celebration's website.

6.  Carolina Designer Craftsmen 38th Fine Craft and Design Show in Raleigh, NC -- November 28th - 30th, 2008.
