Happy Holidays! From Richmond, Virginia

We spent the holidays in Richmond.  We visited downtown Richmond where they have many snowy reindeer hanging out on the green lawn.  At night they all are shining with white lights.  We had a good time visiting and relaxing with family there.  I worked on a 1000 piece puzzle and Bruce read ceramic books.  The giant nutcracker was on display in the lobby of the Omni Hotel.

Richmond's clock tower.

Sounds like fun. I love puzzles but haven't done one since our summer vacation. So I'm like Bruce, sitting around reading my new pottery books, Alabama Folk Pottery and Talking With The Turners! Happy New Year!

Happy Reading Michael! We bought the Encyclopedia of American Art Tiles for the library. Lots of inspiring tile designs.
You are right Jen, the reindeer are beautiful at night. I was there this year visiting my brother the night that they turned on the lights. That was fun. We ate at an incredible sushi place not sure what the name is. I will find out and let you know. Maybe you have been there.
