Celebration of Seagrove Pottters -- Some of the Potters

This was a big evening for us.  The set up for the Celebration of Seagrove Potters began this afternoon.  We all need to be finished by tomorrow noon.  The afternoon will be busy setting up for the Gala that will take place on Friday evening.  Everything looked great and smiles were on many faces this evening.  The steering committee has done amazing things in such short order.   There are many potters and local community peoples that put out a lot of energy and hours  to put on this show.  We received the permit in July and the people hit the ground running.  There has been a lot of negative press in the newspapers talking about a divided community here in Seagrove.  The reality is that the majority of the potters in the Seagrove community have joined together, to make this Celebration a success.  We want to let you know there was nothing divided about this evening.  We all are getting to know one another better in this cooperative venture, and we are a stronger community for it.
Here are a few of the Seagrove Potters that will be set up at the Luck's Cannery this weekend.  Please come and join us for the Celebration!

Thanks for the introductions!

This looks like quite an event. How long has it been going on?

Hey Mandolin,
This is the first year. We are all excited about this weekend.
Hey Jerry,
Maybe next year you can come and visit!
Thank you both for checking in.
Bruce and I are trying to find some clothes to wear to tonights Gala. Yikes! I have not unpacked my winter clothes and we are a mess. I found a scarf my friend from college made for me and a rainbow hat to wear tonight. Thank you for your good wishes!
