We hope to see you there. This will be a great time to celebrate the ongoing Tradition of Pottery Making, and support the North Carolina Pottery Center, and all that it does to educate the public about North Carolina Pottery. Bruce and I are excited and interested to see this exhibition showcasing some examples of the pottery representing the history of the Owen/Owens Families. The Pottery Center also has a great permanent museum collection to view as well.
The reception is free and open to the public. Family members plan to bring their instruments and play bluegrass and old time Appalachian music. I guarantee that every one will have fun and learn something new.

This sounds like a great time and a good connection to two of my interests: traditional art and music!
Have fun...
